S7 PortKey Lite is a lighter version of S7 PortKey which does the fist phase of PortKey which is static migration analysis.

PortKey Lite is a GUI based static migration analyzer that crawls through the source code and creates a report with all the necessary information required to decide, estimate and plan a migration road map.

All the information generated, which would be in a pdf format, gets mailed to S7 Software after client’s confirmation. This forms the basis for a detailed migration plan including cost and time estimation. The estimation arrived using PortKey Lite would be accurate to 70-90%.

This tool works based on the following process, S7 Software has created a database containing information from hundreds of migration projects recognizing those attributes found to be critical in the estimation of a migration project. These attributes are ranked based on their criticality to the outcome and in conjunction with a patented formula helps arrive at a ballpark estimation figure.
